Found Wolcott Farms via Harvest Hosts... we were only planning on being there overnight, but we were granted permission (by the owner, Tina) to stay a few more days as our next plans had fallen through.
Wolcott Farms is an absolutely beautiful horse and livestock farm outside Warsaw in the rolling hills of upstate New York. Hearing the animals in the morning and night was nice and relaxing.
We got to visit with Tina before leaving this afternoon and Karen more about the unique programs they offer to special needs youth and veterans.
Plus we got a quick tour of their sugar shack where they make New York maple🍁 syrup... so we picked up a quart and I've got an idea for a smoked maple glazed pork loin for dinner.
If you're looking to take a breath from the insanity of this world... checkout Wolcott Farms and spend time with horses... you'll just feel more calm and generally happier.
My daughter, Diana has been riding since she is two years old in many places. I honestly can say we’ve had the best experience at Wolcott Farms. We will not be leaving there. We’ve also purchased two horses from there and I could not be more please with the way, Tina and Bryttany have made it all come together, Dayton is amazing. Also, if anyone needs help, they’re willing to give that hand no matter what no matter how busy they are there are rules and there should be rules but the experiences phenomenal and I feel very grateful for everything they have done for our family to come true for my daughter.
I would 10/10 recommend this. I had an amazing time and the scenery was beautiful. I brought my girlfriend as a last minute thing and it did not disappoint at all. We had lots of time with the horses and got to feed them and brush them when the trail ride was over. If you ever need something to do I would absolutely recommend to go here!!

My wife and I had an amazing experience at the wolcott farm, it was my wifes birthday and our 10 year anniversary and i couldn't imagine any other way to seal off a decade together then a new experience horseback riding. Everything from arrival to departure was amazing, our tour guide was very informative but also made sure we had a good time. She constantly checked on us to make sure ourselves and our horses were comfortable. We had the pleasure of riding Poker and Echo and they were amazing aswell, Poker did like to trot so be ready for a little bouncing around if your a new rider. Thank you again the Troches will certainly be back for another visit very soon and we will definitely sending some new riders your way.
5 year ago I bought my first Horse from Wolcott farms. Tiina is very friendly and very knowledgeable about horses. I bought Coco from her and he is the most loving, gentle, trained horse. He’s very healthy. I’ve never had any issues a great place to ride and have fun and Tina is a great trainer.
I will be sending my 4 year old quarter horse Blue to her for training. And I have no doubt that he will be a wonderful trail horse. And will be well behaved and very friendly when she is done training, although he has a great personality now I’ll expound on that.
I brought my daughter and her friend to Walcott Farms for a trail ride to celebrate her birthday. Tina spent a lot of time with the girls, patiently teaching them how to manage the horses and taking them on a gorgeous trail ride. Tina really made it an amazing experience for the girls and they had so much fun. The girls also really enjoyed spending time with all the farm animals and other horses. I highly recommend this farm for all the horse activities and plan on coming back for more!
